From February 27 to March 1, Tokyo PV EXPO was being held warmly, in which AKCOME attracted the Former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama to visit the stand, and released 4 types of modules including 400W shingled module and PERC efficient monocrystal as well as the waterproof brackets, sheds and other new products on site. It is reported that, it is the first appearance and release of AKCOME PV shingled modules to the public at this Tokyo EXPO. This type of modules, named as “Kunpeng” series, had officially been off the assembly line in July last year, with the power up to 400W. The module conversion efficiency is not only improved to a large degree than the traditional design, with product technology superior to the half-plate, multi-main-grid and other module technologies, but also the high-quality packing materials are preferred, so as to gain higher efficiency, no hot spot effect and other advantages. At another level, the customers of shingled modules can benefit from the lower system BOS cost.

 

In addition to the shingled modules, other three types of efficient modules were launched at the same time: 315W PERC monocrystal efficient modules with conversion efficient up to 19.4% are featured by excellent low light performance and anti-PID design, etc.; 5*10 260W mini-monocrystal modules were launched specific to the characteristics of Japan area, which can achieve the maximum utilization ratio of roof, enabling a higher income per unit area; moreover, 275W waterproof polycrystal modules also participated in the EXPO, which can effectively prevent the penetration of moisture, protect the inner packing materials and decrease the module attenuation.
 

Furthermore, as the largest Solar mounting system supplier in China, AKCOME Metal joined in the EXPO with the new generation of waterproof brackets and sheds, attracted numerous customers to consult on site with 30MW order intention reached on the EXPO site. With the waterproof structure composed of PV modules and supporting parts, this type of products adopt the diversion + drainage design, with key waterproof parts made of high weather-proof metals as well as the easy installation design for multiple nodes, so that it can achieve the PV power generation and waterproof functions synchronously after project installation, not required for separate manufacturing of waterproof layer, to gain not only the high reliability but also the more excellent weather resistance, so as to save the comprehensive system cost. This product can be applied to the sunlight room, parking shed, steel structure factory roof and other application scenarios required for the PV power generation and water resistance at the same time.

 

Moreover, brackets of new materials used in 70.2MW power station project which is the largest in AKCOME Taiwan also participated in the EXPO. This type of brackets are the ground-fixed brackets with beam part made of new NSDCC materials, which, featured by stronger weather resistance, salt mist resistance, acid and alkali resistance, ammonia resistance and other performance, as well as ability of fracture surface repair, can easily face the rigorous outdoor environment and ensure a service life of 25 years. Besides, the pre-galvanization process can be managed and controled strictly, not only to gain the beautiful product apperance, but also to completely avoid the zinc tumor, zinc blur and other defects commonly seen in traditional hot-dip galvanizing process, and above all the 5%~10% price advantage than the hot-dip galvanizing treatment.
